Join our dynamic property management team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties as an office administrator. If you are an organized professional with a passion for providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you. Spanish is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Process incoming payments, including receiving checks and applying tenant payments in the system. Act as the point of contact for tenants regarding rent payment status and inquiries. Reconcile credit card transactions and assist with resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.Coordinate with and support employees. Establish and maintain good relations with tenants. Maintain and update resident files. Communicate with management, residents, vendors, and all outside contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to learn property management software (training provided). Communicate, verbally and written, with tenants, clients, and others. Ability to scan, make, fill in, and amend PDF forms. Grab mail at the post office. Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, supervisors, and vendors. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment. Strong customer service skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism when interacting with tenants.Proficient computer skills, including experience with email communication, data entry, and record-keeping. Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a major plus; not required. Experience in property management is a plus.We are located in Suffern, NY. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
