Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, basic skills to read and understand specifications and blueprints for manufactured housing construction and have work knowledge of manufactured home construction. A sense of urgency with meeting the needs of our customers regarding warranty service is a must./ppNOTE; Must have a can-do attitude, be highly team-oriented and self-motivated, possess superior communication skills, and impeccable ethical standards./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliProcess service request received from Retailers./liliField phone calls from Retailers and customers, including follow up calls./liliSchedule service requests./liliEmail or FAX closed requests to Retailers./liliProcess Service Techs and Contractors paperwork./liliTime Sheets and Travel Expenses/liliService Request closure and/or rewrite./liliCommunicate status with Retailers/liliCreate and process cash settlement agreements./liliFiling/liliProcess registration cards received from Retailers and customers./liliReport to Service Manager any major issues, quality or process problems, or concerns, and any recommendations for solution./liliAbide by all company safety policies and rules of conduct./liliMaintain a high level of communication between production foreman and QC Inspectors, and the Service Department, and the retailers and customers./liliInitiate and process vendor claims./liliProcess dealer payments from authorizations./liliPerform initial investigations for incoming invoices./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliMust be at least 18 years of age/liliMust be legally authorized to work in the United States/liliMust be able to read, write and speak English/Bilingual is a plus/liliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliMust successfully pass pre-employment requirements/liliAt least one year of demonstrable experience in a Customer Service role is preferred/liliDemonstrable experience effectively communicating with others, both verbal and written, is required/liliWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required/li/ulpKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/pulliExceptional customer service skills/liliEffective planning, organization and time-management skills/liliAbility to make effective decisions concerning the need for home repairs, with a focus on customer and company interests/liliAbility to effectively read and interpret construction prints/liliAbility to adapt to, and manage competing demands, frequent change and unexpected events/liliAbility to identify and resolve problems effectively and efficiently/li/ulpWorking Conditions:/pulliMinimal exposure to heat, cold, noise and working outdoors/liliMust wear personal protective equipment as required in the manufacturing facility/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliRequires sitting to a significant degree/liliHeavy Work-Exerting up to 25 pounds of force periodically, and/or up to 25 pounds or force infrequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects/liliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment/li/ulpPay Range: $17.50-$19.50 Depending on experience/ppDisclaimer: This job description is intended to provide general information about the position.
