We are looking for Companions and New York State certified Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to deliver care with a compassionate touch.
Your duties depending on the position may include: Assistance with bathing * Grooming and dressing * Toileting and incontinence assistance and care * Mobility and assistance with transfers * Companionship and conversation * Companionship & Engagement * Light housekeeping * Meal planning and preparation * Medication reminders * Specialized Alzheimer's caregiving

Short Commute to Cases - We only service Central Suffolk County: Hauppauge, Smithtown, Port Jefferson, Sayville, BayShore and all towns in between.

Requirements to be a Companion with Home Instead

No Certification is necessary to be a Companion

Treat and care for seniors and their family members with compassion, dignity and respect

Must be able to provide transportation for seniors

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Home Instead
To meet our high standards, you must have and/or be willing and able to:

Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate

Treat and care for seniors and their family members with compassion, dignity and respect

Medical Requirements include:
PPD Result, Chest X-ray report, or a blood test confirming TB immunity status
