Facets SQL developer, Norfolk

Job Description: 

Extensive knowledge of how to handle XPF; including XPF0 batch processing and ISL Facets

Must Demonstrate expert knowledge in SQL, ETL, or other similar code language

Develops knowledge in change request process and develops other documentation, under supervision

Ability to demonstrate the learning capability to cope with fast pace development under guidance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Experience/Requirements:

7+ years’ experience with T-SQL, PL/SQL and related technologies

7+ years' of experience in Relational database concepts, relational logical modeling, best practices and physical design

Experience with Healthcare Provider Data/FACETS (Preferably within Anthem)

Design, evaluate and optimize database structures (tables, views, and functions) while developing methods or scripts for monitoring database capacity, usage & performance

Adhere to industry standard best practices for SDLC



Essential Responsibilities:

Create SQL query statements to identify data discrepancies

Prepare data for job runs. Support existing jobs. Troubleshoot, analyze and repair product issues

Develop and enhance stored procedures. Write ad-hoc SQL queries to support data analysis

Optimize code performance by analyzing indexes, joins and views

Unit Test and SQL optimization.

Working within an Agile SDLC process
