What you'll do:This role will be an integral part of our finance team. You will be a senior member of our accounting staff, and will be able to work on a variety of tasks with varying degrees of pace and delivery. Below is an overview of the typical parts of this role:

Assist with monthly accounting close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations

Support monthly customer invoicing process (creation, review, and send out of invoices)

Assist with company cash activities (vendor payments, customer cash receipts, bank account monitoring and reconciliations)

Assist with maintaining customer and vendor records, and updating information and responding to inquiries as needed

Monitor and analyze accounting data

Produce and review financial reports

Utilize and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles

Work with auditors and tax preparers to issue annual audited financial statements and required tax filings

Assist with sales tax calculations, payments, and records

Requirements

What we're looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience working in Accounting or Finance

Intermediate or better skills in MS Office (emphasis on Excel)

Proven knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Solid communication and organizational skills

Strong research, problem solving, and analytical skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software preferred

CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
