Assistant Instructor - Part Time

Description:

The ideal candidate loves the game of tennis along with an engaging personality and enjoys helping and interacting with kids of all ages. A willingness to contribute and operate within a team based environment is essential to this role.

Skills, Qualities and Experience: A fun, friendly and welcoming attitude that children respond well to is a must The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately to a group of children Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport Ability to follow a lesson plan and safety guidelinesAbility to work with a wide range and variety of skill levels (with a focus on beginning through intermediate skill levels) Previous coaching experience and a solid playing ability is a plus A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun A strong work-ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all timesReliable transportation NOTE: This position is required by law to submit to a consumer investigative report. Applicants are also subject to a health screening, following a conditional offer of employment.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position aimed at approximately 12 - 18 hours per week of on-court time.

**Schedule and number of hours assigned are subject to change according to the needs of the business and can vary seasonally or session by session.**

Pay Range:

$24 - $27.14 / hour

Site Operating Hours -

Monday - Friday:

8am - 10pm

Saturday&Sunday:

8am - 8pm
